摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel in which the reactive power can be reduced by suppressing electrostatic capacity between data electrodes in view of the fact that the electrostatic capacity between the data electrodes has become large by a reflective layer containing TiO<SB>2</SB>since titanium oxide (TiO<SB>2</SB>) has a large specific inductive capacity (specific inductive capacity:ε=86). SOLUTION: The rear substrate 40 is provided with a phosphor layer 60 and a reflective layer 59 which reflects the emission from the phosphor layer 60 to the display screen side at the rear substrate 40 side of the phosphor layer 60, and the reflective layer 59 is constructed of TiO<SB>2</SB>and a material having a smaller specific inductive capacity than TiO<SB>2</SB>, for example, lead oxide system glass (PbO-B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-SiO<SB>2</SB>). As a result, the specific inductive capacity of the reflective layer 59 can be reduced and the electrostatic capacity between the data electrodes 54 can be suppressed, thereby, the reactive power can be reduced.
