PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such a failure that the focus deviation amount is inappropriately corrected. SOLUTION: Light is projected by a projecting means toward an object, the focus deviation amount is detected by a 1st focus detecting means and a 2nd focus detecting means, respectively, on the basis of the light reflected by the object (S2003 to S2008), and a correction value for making the focus deviation amount detected by the 1st focus detecting means equal to the focus deviation amount detected by the 2nd focus detecting means is calculated, and the correction value is stored (S2009), then, in photographing, a focusing lens in a photographing lens is driven on the basis of the focus deviation amount detected by the 1st focus detecting means and the stored correction value.
