PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in menu selection in an electronic camera including an electronic finder and a liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: An electronic camera includes an imaging device that performs optic/electric conversion on a subject to produce an image signal, an electronic finder unit capable of displaying a field-of-view image based on said image signal and a monitor unit capable of displaying a photographed image based on said image signal, and this electronic camera is provided with a photographing mode in which a menu picture relating to function setting of the electronic camera is simultaneously displayed on the monitor unit while the field-of-view image is displayed on the electronic finder unit.
