PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture for a rail vehicle in which the degree of freedom of a design is high compared with a conventional lighting fixture for the rail vehicle, and furthermore in which output light from a fluorescent lamp can be led into a compartment efficiently. SOLUTION: In the lighting fixture main body 1 on which two lamp sockets 2 to support both ends of the fluorescent lamp 3 are attached, by forming structure which protrudes to both sides of the direction intersecting at the right angles to its longitudinal direction and which integrally forms a reflecting plate 12 to reflect light from the fluorescent lamp 3 with aluminum extrusion molding materials, and the lighting fixture is more superior in design characteristics compared with the conventional lighting fixture composed of a press molding product of a rolled steel, and furthermore the lighting fixture for rail vehicle of high illumination efficiency is obtained by integrating the reflecting plate.
