PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable performing the positioning of an edge pinning device easily. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a resin film of this invention, using the edge pinning device having a retaining member and a position adjustment member for the direction of a circular arc in which this retaining member moves; which retains a tip section of an adhesion force forming method which sticks a melting resin to the refrigeration roll surface on the extension line of the straight line (G) which connects a contact point (a) of the refrigeration roll in which a melting resin extruded from a die closely contacts with and a rotary shaft central point (P) of this refrigeration roll so that the adhesion force goes toward the rotary shaft central point (P) of the refrigeration roll and this tip section can move forward and backward along the straight line (G); and which retains the tip section of this adhesion force forming method movably on a virtual circular arc which makes the rotary shaft central point (P) of this refrigeration roll as a central point along the periphery of the refrigeration roll; at least a part of the both ends of a width direction of this melting resin is stuck to the refrigeration roll surface by an adhesion force going from an action tip section of this edge pinning device to the rotary shaft central point (P) of the refrigeration roll and is cooled.
