PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying device for an article collecting container capable of eliminating the need of a guide for guiding articles and reducing failures to pick articles by eliminating the displacement of the position of the article collecting container when a worker throws the articles therein. SOLUTION: Shoes 41 fitted to a slat plate 38 are guided by a forward guide rail 44 and moved and brought into contact with or pressed against the article collecting container 20 on the slat plate 38, and the article collecting container 20 is pressingly held by the shoes 41 and the support member 46 fixed to the slat plate 38. Accordingly, the article collecting container 20 is prevented from moving during transportation, the displacement of the article collecting container 20 is eliminated, and the accuracy of the stop position where picking operation for the article collecting container 20 is performed is increased to reduce failures to pick the articles in which the article collecting container 20 in which the picked articles are thrown in is erroneously identified.
