PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the number of cylinder bores on a caliper body while minimizing the increase of the number of components and processing man-hour, without increasing kinds of casting dies and kinds of products beyond necessity, and to surely prevent the corrosion or the like caused by intrusion of foreign matters. SOLUTION: The casting for caliper body 20 including an operation part 4a provided with prepared holes 9, 21, 22 for forming the plurality of cylinder bores, is casted, then the cylinder bores 7, 8 are formed by machining the prepared holes 21, 22 used as the cylinder bores 7, 8 among the plurality of prepared holes 9, 21, 22, and an opening part of the prepared hole 9 not used as the cylinder bore, is closed by a cover material 18.
