PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small opening/closing time recorder which is attached to an opening/closing structure such as a door or a drawer and can store and display the time and count of opening or closing thereof. SOLUTION: The opening/closing time recorder comprises permanent magnets attached adjacently to a movable part and a fixed part of the opening/closing structure and a device body. The device body is constituted by integrally including a liquid crystal display part, an operation part, a control processor, a magnetic sensor, a time counting circuit, a memory for time recording, and a battery. The recorder controls such that when the opening/closing structure is opened/closed, the magnetic sensor detects the strength of magnetic force of the permanent magnet as switch operation, which triggers the control processor to write time indicated by the time counting circuit into the memory for time recording and displays the time on the liquid crystal display part.
