PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single pixel full-color display device capable of making liquid crystal cells small-sized, reducing the manufacturing cost, simplifying manufacturing stages, and improving resolution with the same area. SOLUTION: The single pixel full-color display device has a white light back plane 1, a 1st polarizing plate 2 formed on the white light back plane 1, a cholesteric mixture layer 3 formed on the 1st polarizing plate 2, a 1st liquid crystal layer 5 which has transparent electrodes 4 and 6 formed on both the top and reverse surfaces of the liquid crystal layer 5 as a 1st liquid crystal layer 5 of IPS mode formed on the cholesteric mixture layer 3, a 2nd polarizing plate 7 formed on the 1st liquid crystal layer 5, and a 2nd liquid crystal layer 9 which has transparent electrodes 8 and 10 formed on both the top and reverse surfaces of the liquid crystal layer 9 as a 2nd liquid crystal layer 9 of IPS mode formed on the 2nd polarizing plate 7.
