PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic transfer sheet having excellent crazing resistance, flawing resistance, water resistance, and adhesion resistance and a method for manufacturing the electrophotographic transfer sheet. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic transfer sheet is composed of a transfer type image receiving sheet having a first support, at least a transparent protective layer and an image receiving layer in this order on the first support and a release type adhesive sheet having a second support and at least an adhesive layer on the second support and having the adhesive surface of the release type adhesive sheet on the toner image surface of the image receiving layer after image formation, wherein the scratching hardness of the transparent protective layer is≥9 kg/mm<SP>2</SP>and the transparent protective layer is preferably a form of containing a cross-linking type polymer.
