PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shading member which prevents pile from coming away from a base fabric of woven structure having warp and woof. SOLUTION: In the shading member for a photographic sensitive material having a base fabric of plain-woven structure having warp and woof, and pile yarn hung from the woof, each weave point of a weave chart showing the woven structure of the base fabric consists of at least one piece of the above warp and at least two pieces of the above woof.
