摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning an aluminum cylindrical base body for an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of efficiently removing and cleaning chips and high-viscosity drawing oil used in a cold drawing process without using a chlorine-based organic solvent. SOLUTION: A plurality of the aluminum cylindrical base bodies for the electrophotographic photoreceptors cut to a prescribed length are perpendicularly arranged with cylindrical axes in parallel after cold drawing and a high-pressure cleaning liquid of a prescribed injection pressure is injected from a high-pressure cleaning nozzle toward the base bodies from the upper side of the upper aperture of the one cylindrical base body in such a manner that the liquid has a spread of a prescribed angle so as to form a sectorial shape. While the nozzle is actuated to swivel in the column direction, the nozzle is successively horizontally moved onto the aperture of the other cylindrical base body in the column direction.
