PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a projected corner column whose chamfer design of an angular part is in harmony with external wall plates arranged on the right and the left. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the projected corner column comprises an external wall plate preparation step for preparing the external wall plates each having a design surface comprising a vertical joint part, a horizontal joint part and a projecting part flat surface; a cut plate piece forming step for forming cut plate pieces by setting two cutting lines on both sides of the vertical joint part 303, in parallel with the vertical joint part 303, and cutting the external wall plate along the cutting lines t3-t3, t4-t4; a plate forming step for forming two plates by cutting the cut plate pieces along both sides of the bottom face 303A of the vertical joint part; a cut surface forming step for cutting an angular part between the cut face 33 and back face 32 of each plate to form a cut surface 35 inclined at 45°to both cut face and back face; and a joining step for applying an adhesive to the cut surface 35 of each plate to join two plates.
