PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a chain using low shape elasticity material such as wood, paper and leather. SOLUTION: In the method, cut-splits are formed in a ring part having no edge part ring as shown in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 and adhered partially with each other to give an article as shown in Fig. 1, and then its edge part is cut off to give a chain as shown in Fig. 6.
