PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an introduction apparatus into a subject for a capsule type endoscope, or the like, moving in the subject at a speed at which intra-subject information can be obtained sufficiently. SOLUTION: Inside the capsule type endoscope, a suction operation generation part 20 and a soft tube member 34 for varying a shape by operation of the generation part 20 are provided. The generation part 20 comprises a cam member 36 arranged in the state of being eccentric with respect to a rotary shaft 35; and a driving mechanism 37 for supplying rotation torque to the cam member 36, and the shape of the soft tube member 34 is varied so as to perform peristalsis with the rotation operation of the cam member 36. Both of the ends of the soft tube member 34 are respectively connected with a suction side opening part 32 and a discharge side opening part 33 formed at an external case member 31. Thus, by the suction of an external fluid through the suction side opening part 32 accompanied with the peristalsis, the capsule endoscope is sucked to the inner wall of a pass-through path to lower its moving speed.
