PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling a vacuum cleaner capable of suppressing influence of variation in detection of the input of an electric blower without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: A control means 13 for controlling the electric blower 2 based on the input of the electric blower 2 detected by a current detection means 12 sets a correction value based on initial input detected by the detection means 12 and input set in advance, and corrects the input detected by the detection means 12 with the correction value to control the blower 2, so as to suppress the influence of variation in detection of the input of the blower 2 by the current detection means 12 without increasing the number of components.
