PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide chewing gum containing specific aroma components so as to effectively suppress or reduce stress response. SOLUTION: The chewing gum contains aroma components collected from plant leaves, particularly green leaves, or equivalent thereof. The aroma components, to be more precise, comprise at least one combination selected from (3Z)-hexanol, (3Z)-hexenol, (3E)-hexenol, (3E)-hexenal, (2E)-hexenol, (2E)-hexenal, n-hexenol and n-hexanal.
