<p>The invention relates to a moisture-barrier coating material, to a sheet-like product coated with this, and to a method for producing them. The coating material (1) is produced by connecting a plastic layer (5) available e.g. by extrusion to a layer of absorbent carrier, such as Kraft paper (2), by treating subsequently the carrier with a reactive impregnating resin (6), performed e.g. by spread coating or by immersing the layers in liquid resin, the resin then being absorbed through the carrier layer into contact with the plastic layer, and by finally carrying out pre-drying of the impregnating resin. After this, there will remain reactive, cross-linkable groups in the impregnating resin, the groups reacting when the coating material is bonded under heat and pressure to a rigid fibre-based plate, forming an end product in which the cross-linkable resin acts as a binder between the coating material and the plate. The end product is usable as a concrete casting panel or as a floor or wall panel in humid spaces.</p> |
