<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure the conveyance of a sheet with an IC tag by preventing damage to the IC tag while conveying the sheet with the IC tag. <P>SOLUTION: By the provision of a conveyance path formed so as not to extend through an image forming section such as a fixing unit, each sheet with an IC tag can be conveyed without being affected by heat/pressure. This prevents each IC tag from being damaged. In addition, reading parts are provided for a feed section and an ejection section for sheets with IC tags. An ID number read when each sheet is fed is stored in a storage section. The ID number read by the sheet ejection section and information in the storage are verified to each other.
