<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor the setting of time for switching to electric power saving of an imaging system depending on how the user operates the system and reduce the latency time of the user. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging system is equipped with a power saving means for controlling a power supply to a specified component with respect to routine power supply, a timer means for measuring time, a storage device access timer means for timing an access time to the storage device which stores image data by the timer means and a change means which changes control timing for shutting off the power supply (a controller control block 8 has its function over each means). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
