PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy for a collector to shift to another wire between insulated trolley wires. SOLUTION: This current collector for the insulated trolley wires is provided with arms 8 with a spring mounted on a moving apparatus in such a way as to be freely rockable, clevis receptacles 9 supported by the end of the arms 8 with a spring, a clevis 11 that has a shaft 10 supported to the clevis receptacles 9 freely slidably and rotatably, and the collector 12 supported by the clevis 11 in an freely oscillating manner and pressed onto the insulated trolley wires 4. This collector is further provided with rocking limiting means 21, 23 for limiting the rock of the arms 8 with a spring within a given range, rotation limiting means 27, 28, 29 for limiting the rotation of the clevis 11 when the collector 12 moves away from the insulated trolley wires 4, and oscillation limiting means 35 for limiting the oscillation of the collector 12 when the collector 12 moves away from the insulated trolley wires 4.
