PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure regulating valve that enables a gas inflow from an outlet. SOLUTION: The pressure regulating valve 1 comprises a first piston 5 with a pressure receiving surface receiving secondary pressure, a valve element 4, and a connection member 6 for connecting the piston 5 and the valve element 4, and drives the piston 5 and valve element 4 integrally via the connection member 6 during a pressure reducing action. A spigot 61 of the connection member 6 is releasably inserted in a socket 54 of the piston 5. When gas is fed in from the outlet 251 formed in a secondary pressure chamber 25, the spigot 61 is moved from the socket 54 to the valve element 4 to release the valve element 4 from the piston 5 and thus open an opening 231.
