摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a system for imaging the inside of a living body capable of obtaining a good image signal by having a function correcting a deficient picture element before performing compression processing of an image signal within the apparatus for imaging the inside of the living body. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for imaging the inside of the living body is inserted into a celom and generates and sends image signals related to a subject. An imaging unit 11 having a plurality of picture elements arranged on a light receiving surface thereof converts an image of the subject generated on the light receiving surface to image signals. A deficiency correcting circuit 12 corrects the image signal of a deficient picture element of an image sensor. A compression circuit 13 then compresses the image signal from the deficiency correcting circuit, and a transmitting circuit 14 transmits the compressed image signal to the outside of the celom.
