PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bead with light weight even when the beads are mounted much on the whole surface of a fabric of clothes and the reflection of light providing the higher grade feeling like glass. SOLUTION: The surface of bead-shaped titanic backing (2A-2C) is polyhedrally cut and formed into a plurality of decorative faces (3) provided with metallic luster so that the decorative faces do not provide just reflection with only the metallic luster but provide fantastic colors of interference light reflected on the bead surfaces. The titanic backing (2A-2C) is anodized to form a transparent coating (4) consisting of titanium dioxide on each face (3). The thickness of the coating (4) on each face (3) is preferably changed so that a tone of the interference color is able to change on each face (3). COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
