PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for treating a steel sheet, which inhibits a gas pinhole defect from occurring when a galvannealed steel sheet is coated with cationic electrodeposition coating. SOLUTION: A treated galvannealed steel sheet has a hot-dip galvanized layer, a zinc phosphate chemical conversion coated layer formed on the hot-dip galvanized layer, and an electrically deposited metallic oxide formed on the surface of the zinc phosphate chemical conversion coated layer.
