PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring an amount of a peptide of an N-terminal of a PIIIP in a body fluid sample, at a low cost compared with a conventional art, and capable of reducing a burden onto a patient, without using a liver biopsy specimen, when diagnosing a NASH, and a reagent used in the method. SOLUTION: The body fluid sample is brought into contact with an immunocoupling partner having specificity in the peptide of the N-terminal of a III type procollagen, and the problem to be solved is solved by a method of measuring a product produced an immunoreaction between the body fluid and the immunocoupling partner.
