The aim of the invention is the production of an inlay by means of which a secure obturation of a root canal is possible with little difficulty and relatively rapidly, whereby the stability of the tooth root is maintained. Said aim is achieved, whereby the inlay comprises a body with a longitudinal axis, the outer surface of which tapers along the longitudinal axis from a larger cross-sectional area to a narrower cross-sectional area. Said body may be introduced into a root canal from the tip of the root canal along a longitudinal axis essentially parallel to the root canal, whereby the interior of the root canal may be worked and shaped by means of an ultrasound tool and the outer surface of the body comprises a form essentially corresponding to a tip of the ultrasound tool. |
