FIBER FOR DOLL HAIR AND DOLL HAIR COMPRISING THE SAME

A doll hair enabling a curly-look hair style which has been impossible so far. The doll hair is composed of bulky multifilaments which each has many random spiral structures gathered together and has been formed through a twisting step-thermal fixing step-untwisting step-thermal provisional fixing step. The doll hair comprises multifilaments processed via a twisting step-thermal fixing step-untwisting step-thermal provisional fixing step. In the processing, the twisting is conducted by performing 100-600 twisting operations per meter and the thermal fixing is a treatment at 60-100°C for 1-60 minutes. The untwisting is conducted by performing twisting operations the number of which is at least 1.1 time the twisting operation number for the twisting, and the thermal provisional fixing is a treatment in which the multifilaments in a cone or hank form are treated at 50-70°C for 5-30 minutes. The multifilaments preferably have an apparent specific gravity of 0.02-0.1 g/cm³ and a degree of stretching of 1.0-15.0%.
