<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a weed controlling sheet that has excellent mechanical strength and durability, low light transmittance, accordingly has high herbicidal effect and no adverse effect by sunlight reflection. <P>SOLUTION: The weed controlling sheet comprises a cloth-like body made of uniaxially stretched yarn of a thermoplastic resin, has ≤6.0% percentage of void and 70-95% accumulated light-shielding ratio in the range of 380-780 μm wavelength. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
