<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which an occupied area is small and a discharging state of a recording medium to a paper discharge section is easily recognized even from a remote place. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 is equipped with: an original read section 2 for reading the image information of an original; an image forming section 4 for forming an image on a paper sheet based on the image information read by the original read section 2 or the image information inputted from the outside; a paper feed section 3 for supplying the paper sheet to the image forming section 4; the paper discharge section 40 for receiving the discharge of the paper sheet formed with the image in the image forming section 4 prepared in a position held in-between in a vertical direction by the original read section 2 and the paper feed section 3; and LEDs 51 to 54 for displaying the discharge state of the paper sheet to the paper discharge section 40 by radiating light in a side face direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
