IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND JOB MANAGEMENT METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to lessen an operator's work by moving jobs whose predicted size of paper is the same all together from among booked jobs to ones for reservation management.

SOLUTION: A booking management means retrieves all jobs having the same paper identification information as the one job and treats the jobs retrieved as ones for reservation management, when one job for which paper shortages are feared is selected for reservation from the list of booked jobs. After papers are fed, a reservation management means return the jobs to be reserved to ones to be booked in a lump.
