PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the temperature state of a motor accurately based on the driving amount thereof.

SOLUTION: The overheat judging device of a motor comprises a section for acquiring information about the driving amount of a judgment object motor and information about the driving amount of other motor being driven alternately with the judgment object motor, a section performing an operation for sequentially integrating the driving amount of the judgment object motor based on the information about the driving amount thereof acquired at the information acquiring section and an operation for subtracting a value corresponding to the driving amount of other motor acquired based on the information about the driving amount thereof acquired at the information acquiring section from the integrated value, and a section for judging that the judgment object motor is in overheated state if the integrated value subtracted at the operating section reaches a predetermined value.
