<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card adapter capable of strengthen holding force to hold an opening and closing cover in a closed condition. <P>SOLUTION: The opening and closing cover 50 to open and close the storage space 2 of a case 1 by rotating in (s) direction is made slidable backward and forward (f - b direction). A tongue-shaped part 54A having a recessed part 54b is provided at the front end part of the opening and closing cover 50. A hole 60A in which the tongue-shaped part 54A is inserted is provided in the case 1. A projecting part 23 to get engaged with the recessed part 54b is provided in the top plate 21 of an upper case 20 forming the upper part of the hole 60A. Thereby, if the opening and closing cover 50 is slid forward (f direction) with the cover closed, the tongue-shaped part 54A is inserted in the hole 60A of the case 1, and the recessed part 54b of the tongue-shaped part 54A is engaged with the projecting part 23 of the case 1 to hold the opening and closing cover 50 in a closed condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
