<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device indicating a user interface applicable to correction processing or the like for a false color such as a purple fringe by chromatic aberration. <P>SOLUTION: A hue setting section for selecting picture elements indicating a hue and a chroma is constituted to the user interface, and the picture elements can be selected on the basis of set information. False-color picture elements such as the purple fringe generated around white-skip picture elements can be selected efficiently by the constitution, and picture-element values of the selected picture elements can be corrected efficiently and surely. A display region displaying an original picture as a picture to be corrected and a result picture after picture-element value correction processing is set, and a constitution displaying a processing picture in conformity with the update of a parameter is formed.
