PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose a tissue both from the functional point of view and the morphological point of view by utilizing the nuclear medical diagnosis and the ultrasonic diagnosis. SOLUTION: The subject medical diagnostic system comprises a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus 10 and an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus 12. A probe 16 is held by a robot 90. An ultrasonic image is organized based on echo data on the scanning face formed by the probe. The volume data obtained by the nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus 10 are stored, and the face data corresponding to the scanning face are read from the volume data to form a nuclear medical image.
