<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost thermoelectric conversion module which is easily manufactured, and also to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In a plurality of element engagement holes 3 formed in an insulating substrate 30, corresponding thermoelectric conversion elements 5 (5a and 5b) are inserted and set in there. Then, the thermoelectric conversion elements 5 are inserted and press-fit in element insertion holes 6 of a support sheet 7 having the element insertion holes 6 so formed as to correspond to the arrangement positions of the thermoelectric conversion elements 5, with a peripheral region of each element insertin hole 6 of the support sheet 7 supporting the side face of the corresponding thermoelectric conversion element 5. At the same time, the support sheet 7 abuts on the surface of the insulating substrate 30 and is fastened to fix the thermoelectric conversion elements 5 to the insulating substrate 30. On one and the other sides of the thermoelectric conversion elements 5 in the insertion direction into the element engagement holes 3, a plurality of electrodes 2 are installed away from each other to electrically connect the thermoelectric conversion elements 5 and form a circuit of the thermoelectric conversion elements 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
