PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a cost increase such as an increase in hardware scale is incurred because the processing of converting an imaged image into a RGB form and a YCbCr form is individually carried out in a display apparatus and an encoder in a prior art. SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus is separately provided with an RGB control section 201 for converting an image signal imaged by the imaging apparatus into an RGB form used for finder display, and a YCbCr control section 202 for converting the image signal into a YCbCr form used for encoding and recording.
