PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irreversible circuit element capable of a fine frequency adjustment with high precision for each product, and to provide its adjusting method. SOLUTION: The irreversible circuit element comprises a first yoke 1, a magnet 2 arranged on the lower surface of an upper plate 1a, a second yoke 3 having a bottom plate 3a and constituting a magnetic closed circuit together with the first yoke 1, a ferrite member 5 arranged between the bottom plate 3a and the magnet 2, first, second, and third central conductors 6, 7, and 8 arranged on the ferrite member 5 to intersect partially in the vertical direction through a dielectric 10, and capacitors C1, C2 and C3 connected with the central conductors. Since the central conductors 6, 7 and 8 are provided each with a cut 14 and/or 18 for frequency adjustment, finer frequency adjustment is realized as compared with prior art and high precision is ensured.
