PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disk holding device capable of stably securing a level attitude of a selected disk by improving a state of engagement between grooves of a disk guide member and engaging pins of a holding member. SOLUTION: The disk holding device includes a disk holding member where two or more pieces of engaging pins of which the base part is level but tapered and sloped toward the tip halfway are projectingly arranged almost at equal intervals on an inner peripheral surface of a disk shaft center aligning member; and a disk guide member where the grooves to be engaged with the engaging pins are spirally formed on an outer peripheral surface with a concentric part made continuous with the sloped part, and where the grooves in the concentric part are formed to be level grooves and the grooves in the sloped part are formed to be sloped grooves which are tapered and sloped toward the groove bottoms.
