PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain vibration or noise of a submerged pump, by restraining the generation of an underwater vortex by the submerged pump, in a pump gate system. SOLUTION: This submerged pump 16 is connected to a drain pipe installed in a gate of the pump gate system. A straightening plate 30 is installed in a suction casing 17 of the submerged pump 16. The straightening plate 30 has a right plate 31, an upper plate 32 and a left plate 33 for respectively partitioning the right side, the upper side and the left side of a suction port 29 of the suction casing 17.
