PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a truck easily assembled and a truck manufacturing method, capable of stabilizing a stacked load by forming the load placing surface flat without the risk of damaging the load with any projection. SOLUTION: The truck 1 is structured so that casters 31-34 are mounted on the undersurface of the load carrying platform 2 in a square frame shape, wherein the load carrying platform 2 is formed from frame members having a bottom plate 2a to admit placing of the load and a side plate 2b rising from one edge of the bottom plate 2a which are put together in a square shape, and the undersurface of the bottom plate 2a is furnished with a groove 2R in approximately a C-section having a slit-form opening P facing down, in which pedestals 37 of the casters 31-37 are set over straddling the frame members of two adjoining edges at the inside corners R1-R4 of the load carrying platform 2 and accommodated without causing bolt heads 40a for fastening the pedestals to slip off from the open end 2i of the C-groove 2R, and the casters 31-34 are attached to the load carrying platform 2 by fastening the pedestals 37 with nuts 41 to a bolt threaded part 40b protruding down from the slit-form opening P, and also the frame members are coupled.
