PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new gas fire-extinguishing agent with little risk of causing ozone destruction while having fire-extinguishing ability and a fire-extinguishing agent mixture for a fire-extinguisher using the gas fire-extinguishing agent, and to further provide a new gas fire-extinguishing agent capable of being a substitute for a halon. SOLUTION: The gas fire-extinguishing agent mainly comprises hydrodecafluoropentane, and the fire-extinguishing agent mixture comprises the gas fire-extinguishing agent and a propellant comprising at least one material whose boiling point is in a range of 0 to -270°C.
