The invention relates to a device for transporting reels of material, whereby the reels of material are disposed on a first transport carriage (27) and said transport carriage is disposed on a second transport carriage (32). The second transport carriage (32) travels between a store having a plurality of storage spaces and a reel changer of a web-processing machine. The second transport carriage (32), together with the first transport carriage (27) and the reel of material deposited thereon, travels to an offload/unload position of the reel changer.
