<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image superposing device which can easily superpose images with less error. <P>SOLUTION: This image superposing device superposes measurement image results of a brain function measuring device and a medical imaging device. The image superposing device is equipped with a three-dimensional digitizer which measures the shape of a head section, a first conversion operation circuit, a second conversion operation circuit, and a third conversion operation circuit. The first conversion operation circuit acquires a signal conversion formula for converting the signal of the brain function measuring device and the signal of the three-dimensional digitizer into coordinate system signals which correspond to each other by using relative position measurement signals of the brain function measuring device and the three-dimensional digitizer. The second conversion operation circuit acquires a signal conversion formula for converting the signal of the three-dimensional digitizer and the signal of the medical imaging device into coordinate system signals which correspond to each other by using the measurement signal of the three-dimensional digitizer and the measurement signal from the medical imaging device at a corresponding position. The third conversion operation circuit acquires a signal conversion formula for converting the signal of the brain function measuring device and the signal of the medical imaging device into coordinate system signals which correspond to each other by using the conversion formulas of the first and second conversion operation circuits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
