HARMFUL SUBSTANCE DETECTING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for discriminating broad kinds of harmful substances using a biosensor, and a harmful substance detecting device.

SOLUTION: The kinds of harmful substances contained in sample water are discriminated by comparing the detection output of the biosensor at the time of the direct supply of the sample water to the biosensor with the detection output of the biosensor when pretreatment for removing the specific harmful substance contained in the sample water is applied to the sample water to supply the pretreated sample water to the biosensor.
