METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYMER CONTAINING DIFLUOROMETHYLENEOXY UNIT, NEW POLYMER AND ITS APPLICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polymer containing a monomer unit represented by -CF2O- and to provide a new polymer and a pellicle essentially composed of the polymer.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the polymer containing a monomer unit represented by the formula -CF2O- comprises polymerizing a compound represented by the formula COF2. The new polymer comprises the monomer unit represented by the formula -CF2O- and a monomer unit formed by polymerization of a polymerizable unsaturated compound which is polymerizable with the compound represented by the formula COF2. The pellicle is essentially composed of the polymer.
