PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photographic sensitive material which releases a thermal solvent within a short development time in spite of high stability during storage to improve development reactivity and to ensure no fogging increase, and increases image density, by making the thermal solvent harmless by housing the solvent, in microcapsules using a special polyolefin wax, which is used in a limited amount in a heat developable photosensitive material because of a profound effect during storage of raw film and during development, and to provide an image forming method. SOLUTION: In the heat developable photographic sensitive material containing a photosensitive silver halide, microcapsules housing at least one thermal solvent are contained.
