PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static pressure slide capable of reducing its weight while keeping high supporting rigidity. SOLUTION: At least one static pressure face SP2 is mounted between two static pressure faces SP1, SP3 facing to the same direction, in a state of facing to the direction intersecting with the direction of the static pressure faces SP1, SP3. Thus the weight can be reduced by an area A indicated by a dotted line in a cross-section of the static pressure slide SS' in a comparative example, while keeping the static pressure faces of the same total area. As the total area of the static pressure faces is equal to the supporting rigidity, the static pressure slide SS of this invention can realize the reduction of weight while having the same supporting rigidity in comparison with the static pressure slide SS' of the comparative example.
