PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint preventing co-rotation of a pipe body against fastening of a stopper and having satisfactory sealing performance. SOLUTION: The pipe joint is provided on a tip of a housing with a cylindrical part formed with a screw in an inner periphery. A cone-shaped inclined surface is formed to taper inward from a base portion of the cylindrical part. The joint has a stopper which is formed on an outer periphery with a screw engaging with the screw of the cylindrical part of the housing and is provided on its tip with a cone-shaped inclined fastening surface of the same shape with the cone-shaped inclined surface of the housing. A square ring having an inner diameter of the same dimension with or of a slightly larger dimension than an outer diameter of the pipe body is interposed between the fastening surface and the inclined surface. An inclination angle on one side of the square ring is set larger than an inclination angle of the fastening surface, hardness of the stopper is set harder than hardness of the square ring, and the hardness of the square ring is set equal to or slightly harder than hardness of the pipe body.
