PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure, its method and corner fittings for an existing house, which are capable of offering a sufficient pull-out resistance by reinforcing the existing house from the inside by using corner fittings without giving any damage to an existing concrete foundation of the house. SOLUTION: At a connecting portion between a column 5 and a groundsill 2 of the existing house, a corner fittings 8 at sill side (corner fittings 10 plus strut fittings 11) is installed and fixed to the column 5 and groundsill 2 with a screw 32 and is also fixed to an existing concrete footing 1 with a new anchor bolt 31. The corner fittings 10 has a boxed shape having an attaching wall 13 at a column side, an attaching wall 16 at a sill side, and reinforcing walls 14 and 15 at both the sides. When a pull-out force acts to the column 5, the pull-out force is transmitted directly to the concrete footing 1 through the corner fittings 8 at the sill side. And the pull-out force is also transmitted to the concrete footing 1 by way of an existing anchor bolt 3 fixing the groundsill 2 through the screws 32 and the groundsill 2 fixing the corner fittings 10 to the groundsill 2. The strut fittings 11 supports the reinforcing walls 14, 15 at both the sides of the corner fittings for preventing the walls 14, 15 from being crushed due to a tensile force thereby avoiding the deformation of the corner fittings.
